Dakabin Has Talent!

Congratulation to all entries in the 2009 Dakabin SHS Talent Quest. After weeks of heats, the finals were held on Thursday the 27th of August. All of the performers were outstanding and deserve recognition, but there could only be one winner. First place was awarded to the "A2B Boys", who also took out audience favourite with their Shuffling routine. Other competitors to place were Miriam Thurlow, Rebecca Cook and Lauren John (2nd place), and Ben Wilson (3rd place).

Many thank to Arties Music Strathpine and The Cheesecake Shop Strathpine for their generous prize donations. All proceeds from this event will go towards the schools upcoming musical "Calamity Jane".
