Dragons’ Fire in Finals

Dakabin Dragons senior winter sports teams competed in the Sunshine Coast South Zone Finals on Wednesday to decide who the best is.

The Dragons had eight teams playing in the finals in a large number of sports including volleyball, basketball, netball, and girls rugby league.

Three of the teams ran out winner on the day in year 10 and open girls volleyball, year 10 girls basketball and open boys volleyball.

Mr Baker said that this was an outstanding result for our teams.

“ We’re really excited about the results,” said sports coordinator Mr Baker, “ These results continue the strong showing from the summer competition in semester 1”.

The three winning teams now go on to represent Sunshine Coast South Zone in the Metropolitan Finals.
