Term three has been an extremely busy time in the English Department, and the Year Nines have been working hard. As a part of the QCAT unit on Advertising, Jules Starck, marketing guru and executive from Gallery De Pasquale Advertising (GDP), took time out from her busy schedule to impart a few tricks of the trade.
As a part of the information session, the class deconstructed a variety of ads and then worked to create their own ad for Breaka Milk. Their ideas were original, imaginative and Ms Starck was impressed with their creativity.
A big thanks to Jules Starck and Gallery De Pasquale Advertising for taking the time to visit Dakabin High. Ms Starck was professional and informative and the students really enjoyed hearing your stories from behind the scenes of the advertising world!
